This is a page about Shadow the Hedgehog 2: PAINFULLY EDGY!, a fangame created by Speedyblue and adopted by...some edgelord. No, wait. It was adopted by Wikikinetic

Shadow the Hedgehog 2 is an awesome game. You don't need to know who made it, when, or why, who rated it, or any of that trash. It's awesome. Buy it.

Plot[]

Premise[]

After the events of Sonic 06, Shadow is trying to redeem himself after the embarrassment from the first game. Not like it was Shadow's fault. He was acting all useful and whatnot, but that jerk Silver screwed everything up bigtime. Leave it to Silver.

Now, Sonic and Silver decide to screw things up again. Shadow tells them to go away, but the two won’t leave him alone. So, throughout the entire game, you’re an edgelord who has to deal with a cocky speedster and an immature jerk. Lucky you!

Anyway, Shadow is now being challenged, since there’s a new edgelord in town. Shadow, having to deal with two non-edgy teenagers, is angered by this, so he decides to go on a rampage. Can he destroy the world, without being beaten, and without Sonic and Silver stopping him?

Paths[]

The game obviously has lots of cool paths to go through. It wouldn't be a good Shadow the Hedgehog sequel without that. Instead of being labeled "Hero" to "Dark", though, they're labeled "Zombie" to "Destroyer". Or at least, they were in development. Then someone realized that that reflected on the world, not Shadow, so they changed it to a spectrum ranging from "Cull-Bringer" to "Devastator". Now no one can tell the difference between the two spectrum ends, but WHO CARES?!?

Endings[]

Now that would ruin the fun.

Gameplay[]

Shadow does what you'd expect: runs around and shoots stuff with guns. He also shoots people who have guns so that he can pick up their guns and use them to shoot stuff. Sweet!

Shadow also has an awesome thing in this game where he can make a meteor fall out of the sky and destroy things. However, the downside of that is that it devastates the entire area, so Shadow can't pick up the guns there. That's why they took it out in beta. You can still cheat it in by typing the following code, though: [*redacted*]

Fun Facts[]

  • There are no fun facts. Because a Shadow game is not fun. It's edgy.
